1. Engine Speed Sensor

The grey wire is located on the outside of the transmission, directly above the flywheel ring. This sensor sends signals through the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU utilizes this information to regulate boost and fuel. It also sends an indicator to the G5 Tachometer located in the instrument cluster.

The sensor is used to correlate with the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu needs to be aware of when the crankshaft has reached TDC and also the location of the camshaft so that it can activate the spark and injectors.

If this sensor fails to function, the ECU will display an error code P00160. This indicates that the Crank Shaft is not in sync with the Intake Camshaft. 2. Injectors

Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at a high speed, i noticed a huge decrease in power. It was as if the engine had run out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the 4th one was dry. When I crank the engine without sparks i put tissue on the top of each of the injector holes, the 3 drenched with gazoline pop out, but the 4th one stays shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found zero ohm. So i assume the problem is elsewhere.

I also tried to reset PID without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected and is running fine when it is connected but it still has the intermittent misfire issue at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62), even if it is not plugged in, shows temperatures of -49c. Also, i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when I crank up the engine.

I don't know what to do. I believe that I've eliminated everything else. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please share them! TIA!

3. Fuel Pump
